Bus and tram
For events which attract a large number of spectators, we recommended taking the tram to the Stadium. The lines M1 and M2 run from the main railway station via the city centre to the EINTRACHT-STADION. The M1 stops directly at the Stadium (tram stop Stadion, direction Wenden). The M2 stops near the Stadium (tram stop Gesundheitsamt, direction Siegfriedviertel).
Highly recommended: Admission ticket = public transport (“ÖPNV”) ticket
The admission tickets to Eintracht matches, Lions matches and to large-scale events (e.g. concerts) are simultaneously tickets for travelling on the buses and trams of the Braunschweiger Verkehrs-GmbH, the local public transport company. The tickets are valid from two hours before the start of the (sports) event until two hours after the end of the event, within the area of tariff zone 40. You can plan your individual arrival and departure times via the timetable information of the Braunschweiger Verkehrs-GmbH.
The route to the stadium by car
By car you can access the motorway A 391 (also referred to as “Westtangente” in Braunschweig) via the A 2 (Hanover-Berlin) if approaching from the north and via the A 39 (Hildesheim-Braunschweig) if approaching from the south. From the A 391, follow the signs for the A 392 / Hamburger Straße at the Ölper Kreuz junction. At the end of the motorway, turn left. After approx. 1,000 metres you will see the EINTRACHT-STADION on your right.
Address for navigation devices:
Hamburger Straße 210
Coordinates: 52°17`24 N / 10°31`07 O
Westen (West): via Hamburger Straße
Süden (South): via Rheingoldstraße
Osten (East): via Guntherstraße
Eintracht Braunschweig home games
The A 392 is often very full before Eintracht home games and traffic jams must be expected. Please note that away fans must use the separate entrance for the “Nordkurve” on Hamburger Straße. From Rheingoldstraße and Guntherstraße, there is no access to the grandstand for fans of the guest team.
For visitors to business events at the Eintracht Stadium, parking spaces are available in the P2 car park. These parking spaces are, however, limited.
For Eintracht Braunschweig home games, the club, in co-operation with the Volkswagen factory Braunschweig, offers fans parking facilities in the VW car park in the nearby street “Ohefeld”.
